About Rebecca McLean
Founder of Tiny House Mastery. Legal expert. Advocate for smarter small living.
Rebecca previously founded and ran Tiny House Builders Ltd, where she oversaw the design and construction of more than 60 homes across New Zealand. This hands-on experience gives her extensive construction knowledge, which she now combines with her legal and design expertise to guide others.
She has already helped hundreds of Kiwis navigate the legal, design, and build process for tiny homes and granny flats. With lived experience in multi-generational living and as the past Chairperson of the NZ Tiny House Association, she has a deep understanding of New Zealand’s evolving rules.
